From the moment we sign a contract I am on call via phone, text and email for my clients. I want you to have a constant resource during your journey.

prenatal support
I offer unlimited prenatal visits, unlike many doulas, because understanding your unique needs, past experiences, and birth preferences cannot be fully accomplished in just 1-2 sessions. I believe in providing thorough, personalized care, which involves more than just making a birth plan—it's about building a strong rapport, understanding your specific circumstances, and preparing together as a team. Each client has different needs, and my approach ensures that our prenatal meetings are tailored to provide evidence-based resources and support, creating the foundation for exceptional care and a positive birth experience.
Once again, I have no time limits on continuous birth support, some doulas do. From the moment you say, “I need you.” I am there. I am there throughout labor and delivery. I stay up to four hours after delivery (dependent on location protocols and if I’m encapsulating your placenta). I strive on being fully present, physically, emotionally and energetically, to provide the best services possible.

One, in-person postpartum visit is included in the birth doula services package. I am available 24-7 phone/text/email in postpartum. You will receive weekly check-in texts. Everyone has difference needs and for those that need more support, it evens out for those that don’t need as much. Just know that if you need me, I’m there! My clients are in control of their postpartum needs/wants. How our relationship evolves after the initial postpartum period is all dependent on my clients as well. Some I never hear from again, some I notice they continue to like all our social posts, some I still receive pictures yearly, some I have grown closer to, and some have become family.
$2000
A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is due at the time of contract signing, and the remaining balance of $1000 is due by 37 weeks gestation. You may use FSA, HSA, HRA cards to pay for doula services, or use the electronic receipt to submit for reimbursement to your insurance company. I do offer flexible recurring payment plans for the remaining balance if needed, its a few quick clicks & super simple, just let me know if you need it. We use electronic payments and invoicing via the square. You may pay with credit/debit card, ACH bank transfers & we do offer Afterpay or Cash App Pay for interest-free payments. Amanda does hold a NPI number and can write a super-bill for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. We also pair with most third party reimbursement companies for reimbursement such as Meela and Carrot. Check your insurance, sometimes we’re listed in the fine print.
Amanda is also an approved provider for Meela and Carrot Fertility and can bill United Healthcare.
We offer reduced rates for BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ individuals.
** Amanda only attends births at Ascension St.Mary’s on Lake Dr. Milwaukee, with certain providers for repeat clients.

explanation of postpartum services
A postpartum doula is there to help a new family in those first days and weeks after bringing home a new baby. Services include, but are not limited to, help with self-care recovery, postpartum comfort measures, infant care, parenting information and assistance with learning to feed and take care of your baby, as well as other practical services.
Postpartum doula services for a family last anywhere from a few days, up to a few weeks after bringing home a new baby.
what is a postpartum doula
daytime support
Daytime postpartum services are offered Monday-Friday during normal business hours, in 3-4 hour increments. Our daytime support includes the following, but not limited to the following:
Education on postpartum care & newborn care
Guidance with newborn care and feeding
Feeding support and tips which includes lactation support if needed
Emotional support and nurturing for the new mother
Help with postpartum care & self-care for the mother
Healthy and nutritious meal prepping or planning
Light housekeeping (ie: light laundry and folding, tidying up)
Organization and/or cleaning of the nursery
Overnight postpartum services are offered Sunday night thru Thursday night, in 8 hour increments, 10pm - 6am unless otherwise noted with the doula. Our overnight support includes the following:
Education on postpartum care & newborn care
Guidance with newborn care and feeding
Feeding support and tips which includes lactation support if needed
Emotional support and nurturing for the new mother
Sleep training/sleep routine maintenance
Maintaining a safe sleep environment for baby
Undisturbed sleep time for parents
Cleaning of bottles/pump parts/formula, etc when used at night
Full basic needs of caring for newborn (diaper/clothes changes etc)
Feeding and Soothing baby during night time
Organization and/or cleaning of the nursery
**A proper place of rest is required for the doula, a couch, spare bed, reclining chair etc. as well as a baby monitor to be used if the resting area is not in the same room as baby.

Postpartum services are billed hourly on a weekly basis. We offer contracts with a duration length of 6-12 weeks. All postpartum services are eligible for a superbill, for third party reimbursement.
Daytime services investment: $37.50/hour
Overnight services investment: $55/hour
There is a one time $100 admin/travel fee added to each postpartum contract
